"I was given the opportunity to have John as a coach at SPSCC. In 2 short years John took 18 average players and turned us into an outstanding team, placing second in the state of Washington for all community colleges. He not only has a great knowledge of the game and the skills needed for players to succeed, but also has the ability to teach these skills so players of all ages understand them. I
believe John is one of the better trainers I've had,
and would never pass up the opportunity to be trained by him."

Kyle Bacon, Black Hills Football Club player; former SPSCC player

At Golden Goals Soccer Camp we T.E.A.C.H. the benefits of Teamwork, Enthusiasm, Attitude, Commitment, and Health, while building the camper’s self esteem in a fun and challenging environment.

Golden Goals teaches more than soccer.
We use the game of soccer as a learning tool.

It is the medium through which we build self esteem, encourage teamwork and develop an eagerness to accept challenges.

TEAMWORK: Teamwork is when a group of individuals coordinate their efforts to accomplish goals beyond the ability of any single member. Good team players maximize their individual talents while measuring their success in terms of team goals. They are trustworthy, dependable and supportive.
ENTHUSIASM: Enthusiasm is an emotional state that helps us stay focused and willing to put energy into our endeavors. The enthusiastic player is able to put forward tremendous effort, while inspiring his or her teammates with their sheer force of will.
ATTITUDE: Attitude is the state of mind that we bring into our relationships and endeavors. A positive attitude helps one to accept challenges and apply themself, seemingly without effort.
COMMITMENT: Commitment is exemplified by discipline, dedication and perseverance. Committed players are willing to put the time into skill development. They have the ability to stick with a task, even, and especially, when it becomes difficult.
HEALTH: Health is a state of being where our physical, mental, emotional and spiritual aspects meet. Healthy people are aware of their need for balance in their lives. They take care of their nutritional needs, recognize their need for community and have made peace with those things greater than themselves.
